I’ve pushed an update to the Better AdSense Targeting plugin for WordPress. Version 1.1 has been pushed to the WordPress Plugin Repository. This is a maintenance update to help improve your experience and results. As noted below, I did remove the option to target or ignore the ‘comments section’ due to the ability to accurately identify the comments loop 100% of the time. I hope to have a better way of doing this in the future. In this update are the following:

• Corrected issue when the loop is entered in the sidebar
• Now using the Shortcode API for the and tags in posts
• Removed option for Comments as there is not valid way to know the start/end of comments loop yet
• Added check for W3 Total Cache and warn to allow comments when minifying

I’ve put together a small update to the Updated Today Plugin. This updated includes the following:

• Added an option to link the banner to the most recently published post
• Cleaned up entries in options table to be one serialized array instead of separate entries for each option
• Added import of old settings into new version of options table

The update has been pushed to WordPress.org and should be available in your Updates section shortly.

Some of you may have read this post over at Lifehacker about the bandwidth limitations that Dropbox puts on the public folder a user shares. Well, since my Dropbox CDN plugin uses the public folder of your Dropbox account, I’m going to be including a feature that will seamlessly check to make sure that you haven’t hit your Dropbox limit before using the plugin settings.

I hope to have this feature released sometime this weekend. I’ll keep you posted.

Could it be that the Updated Today plugin for WordPress has been updated to version 2.2 only a day later!? You better believe it.

I’ve added some more options to this one. You now can choose if post, pages, or both trigger the banner. You can also choose between the original post date or the modified date (or both) affect the banner. I hope you like the updates.

The Updated Today plugin for WordPress has been updated to version 2.1.1. I was fighting with the SVN so I’m sorry if you got a bad version during the process. It should all be updated and good to go. You can download it directly from WordPress if need be!
